Memories Reflected

Memories Reflected Stood at water's edge Reflection lost to shadow But it mattered little For every breath of wind That rippled the surface gentle And disturbed the stillness Scattered memories radiant And for fleeting moments A glimpse in the glint of a low winter sun Of a reflection at peace Eyes closed to forever remember this scene When water and wind became memory _________________________________ A place. A time. Significance unnoticed. Until a seismic change in our present moment...when everything you know now has changed irreparably, a return to a place unchanged can bring memories of happier times back to the surface.
