Took the Train Took the train Sat silently, back to The direction of travel, So I could not see Where I was headed. Only where I'd been. I walked slowly back Through carriages clattering, Passing windows blurred In fast forward scenes. To the final vestibule, I stopped and could Walk back no more. And no vestige of What was past remained. While I wished to walk back To that ever distant past I would only move forward
