Sunrise Caught

Sunrise Caught I caught the sunrise this morning Wrapped it in an orange sky. I put it in my back pocket, But never wondered why Each time I catch a glorious dawn, It's not me that catches the sun. But the sun that catches me And wipes away the forlorn Sadness in my darkened weary eyes, As it turns up my mouth to smiles And shares its will to rise. I caught the sunrise this morning Wrapped it in an orange sky I put it in my back pocket And will do every time. _________________________ Sunrise at 5:19am over south Worcestershire, near Croome. The hottest day ever recorded in the UK occurred after this sunrise. 38.7C in Cambridge. It was a pleasure to be out on the bicycle before sunrise and avoid the heat.

No matter the sadness, difficulties or problems we all inevitably face, catching the sunrise can not fail to raise the spirits, calm anxieties and renew your belief and strengthen your resolve.
