Letters

Letters

I wrote you a letter, But words scattered, Lost in the winds. I wrote you a letter, But the ink ran, Smudged by tears. I wrote you a letter, Each sentence punctuated By unending memories. I wrote you a letter Sent it post haste, Before the pages returned to blank. I wrote you a letter Tried to finish it with a comma, But it finished with a Full Stop. _________________________________ Letter to Milla Not a day goes by without thoughts of my beautiful daughter Milla. Every emotion. Happiness at the memory of her smile, her laughter. Sitting for hours with her, holding her, cuddles and singing to her. The sadness and pain of losing her. The anger and questioning why she had to pass away. The tears of frustration.
