Written following a visit to Eastbourne on 22nd&23rd September. A glimpse of summer, an Indian summer and the thoughts of a chill autumn and winter to come are forgotten. And nature pleases once more with its beautiful colours.
September's Canvas September & summer lingers stubborn, welcome Warmth of memories made From colours simply laid On nature's canvas Wisped cloud of white Strafe skies delighting in resonant blue While distant seas becalmed greet verdant field Glowing in autumn's green Nature paints with palette renewed For nothing will e'er spoil this view
