Sounds of Peace


Sounds of Peace Peace is the constant trickle of glinting stream And incessant hum of flowered bee Peace rises with the chattering chorus of morning bird And the crack of twig and branch Peace is the stillness of sunlight And the thrum of excited raindrops Peace is found in the comfort of treasured sounds And the silence in between _____________________________ I love silence. Yet there are some sounds that bring such calm, a personal quiet. And when you hear them, it fills you with an innate peace...and all is well.
