The places you have been The places that have meaning And a place in your heart The places which lie further than the horizon The places you can not see Beyond that pale blue line The demarcation of your world The end of your present place But what of distance? And those places distant? They do not disappear from view They are always there and always will be Just look inside yourself And you will see them And you will be there Just close your eyes And you will be there _____________________________ We often yearn to return to those places to where we have travelled. Those places that lie beyond the horizon. But circumstance prevents it. Except those places remain part of us. If only we close our eyes to see them and to be there once more. Travel is more than distance. Travel is experience. And that never leaves you.
