In Dawn View

In Dawn View Were there no better sight As dawn broke in coppice and field The sun tipping over distant hills, The world anew in light revealed With welcomed warmth Turned frost to dew In the silence of morning Such peaceful view The sun slowly thawed Tears frozen to cheek Were there no better sight At which to weep? _____________________________ You may have witnessed a thousand sunrises, yet there are a few that can move you to tears, captivated and in awe.
