Between every raindrop
There exists a space
Of silence and peace
Of calm among the chaos
Between each flash of lightning
And crack of thunder
Is a moment of stillness
And quiet, a nature-breath
Between every wave
Is a momentary lull
An ocean-pause and
Hopeful sea-rest
Between each gust of
Storm-wind nature
Inhales, a cessation
In hostilities, a wind-truce
Between every second
That passes unnoticed
Life takes its pause
Just for a moment
