The Earth asked the moon
If it ever felt alone
And the moon replied
It never showed its dark side

People often put on a brave face, smile through their pain, hide their sadness, anxiety, emotional difficulties - a mask that belies the truth.
Why do we do it? We don't want others to see our weakness, we don't want to be embarrassed or to burden others, or we believe we can deal with it ourselves.
But we need to show our darkness, so others can shine a light for us.
